A very hard wood & difficult to cut Great detailing on this box, tall 3D roses around the base & atop the lid Painted with that iconic & kitschy style of air brushing: peach, pink & mint green shades on a deep red wood. The lid, base, & bottom are lined with dark red, short pile velveteen Meant to be safe on a mirrored vanity The lining is clean and in beautiful condition. All around it is in beautiful vintage condition Well cared for No flaws of note I used orange oil to clean it and a velour lint brush to clean any dust from the lining A lovely keepsake gift or heirloom box to present a gift in. bottom reads Made in Tiawan R.O.C.
