Immaculate Heart of Mary Ex-Voto Holy Water Flask With Insignia and Loop for Hanging buying Religious Devotional Rare

This is a beautiful piece. It is an ex-voto or what some refer to as a milagro. Either way they are religious devotional pieces. This one is unusual as it is a Holy Water flask whereas the top screws off as shown and you would have put Holy Water in it for prayers. Ex Votos typically would hang in one's house and open up on a hinge. Inside one would put a prayer or a special intention and when that request was answered it would be replaced with another. Hanging in one's home, it would bring peace. This one also hangs by a loop on the back. While not antique it does have some age to it. If this was from the 19th century or before you would be looking at several hundreds of dollars for your cost. The Immaculate Heart of Mary insignia is etched in the front. Silver tarnished metal of buying some sort. Measures approximately 4" long and 2' wide at mid section of heart shape. it is a beautiful piece and one rarely found. I can see someone now using it with perfume inside of it and hanging it on a chain as a necklace. It would be spectacular. Sold as is, tarnished and all.
