Paper Origami Lamp. White and Red. 48 sides. (Polyhedra Luminaria buying Series)

The concept behind the Polyhedra Luminaria lighting series is to create a new environment within a familiar space by utilizing the magic of color and light.

Inspired by the the intimacy of origami and the accessibility of paper as its medium, each lamp is hand folded following traditional origami methods.

Inside, the highly saturated colored paper yields a rich colored glow. The exterior both concentrates this colored interior illumination while also allowing the lamp to blend with its environment during the day.

The lamps create an ambient glow that dapples into geometric forms when suspended near surfaces or as a table luminaire.

Using heavyweight paper, each is hand crafted from many intricately folded interlocking units, making the lamps very sturdy and durable. The final product is also treated to prevent staining or marking.

This lamp has a 48 sides, a White exterior and a Red interior glow. It measures approximately 35" in circumference and 12" in diameter.

Lamps are only to be used with LED buying bulbs.
