MIxed Media/Stained Glass buying Mosaic Birdhouse FRONT ONLY Design - made to order, Custom design - Rainbow Mix design Shown

This listing is for a made to order, custom birdhouse, with a mixed media mosaic design on the front of the house. I use a mixture of stained glass, ceramic cabs, czech beads and more to make each unique design. Designs are grouted, resin layers are applied to give them a super slick, shiny surface that really makes the designs pop!

You tell me the colors and/or design you want and I build it. It's that easy. These custom houses can take at least 3-4 weeks to complete. Depending on my schedule, it could possibly take a little longer.

It is approximately 9" tall (not including the copper wire loop for hanging), 9" wide, and 7" deep.

The birdhouses begin with my parents. My parents build the buying houses from scratch. They are stained and sealed and then make their way to my house, where I add the designs. Unless I'm creating houses to sell at art shows, most houses are created to order in the designs and colors that customers request.

I use a variety of things for perches, but most commonly I choose to use drawer pulls. They come in such a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors and they help to pull the designs together. Sparkly ones are very popular.

Designs are created with a variety of stained glass and mirror pieces. Often I add ceramic pieces and/or Czech glass beads. Once the design is created, it is grouted and then resin layers are added for extra shine.

Though I can repeat designs, no two houses are exactly alike. Each birdhouse is unique and is considered a piece of artwork.

To keep your birdhouse looking it's best, bring it inside during freezing weather.
