Kelly Green buying 1960's Wool Coat with Mink Collar

These were THE go-to coats in our Grandmother's closets....and this "Young Quinlan" coat is a perfect example of how the ladies of that era looked their best....no matter where they went!!

The YOUNG QUINLAN name in fashions started in 1926 when Elizabeth Quinlan, who owned and operated a women's specialty dress shop, decided to expand the business, making sure that she offered only the best in DESIGN and QUALITY. Elizabeth then had a "beautiful home" built for her Young Quinlan Department Store, at 901 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, where the business operated until 1989. The building still stands and is now designated as a local landmark by the Minneapolis Historic Preservation Commission.

There is no size label in the coat, and seems to be a Modern Size M/L, with the following measurements:

42"-44" Across body of Coat and from underarm-to-underarm
41" Length, from shoulder to hemline
21" Sleeve Length
