Authentic USS Texas buying Nautical Pen in Copper

Own a beautiful and unique piece of history with this nautical-style pen in a copper finish! It was hand-turned from wood acquired from the USS Texas battleship. The USS Texas was commissioned in 1914 and served in several battles during World War II, including in Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Since its decommissioning in 1948, it has sat as a memorial ship. A certificate of describing this piece (shown) will accompany your order.

It is a ballpoint twist-style pen with a locking refill mechanism that accepts Parker-style refills. Great care went into the final assembly of these rare pens; they were sanded using a combination of fine sandpaper and an ultra-shine sanding wax, then treated with three coats of a high-quality friction polish, and a final coat of Renaissance wax for a long-lasting and durable finish.
