ERA: True vintage item from the 1800s
MEASUREMENTS: the baby gown is 32 inches long, 20 inch chest, 18 inch waist, 68 inches around hem
MATERIAL: cotton
LABEL: none
CLEANING: hand washed
Long white cotton infant gown. The bodice is fitted with dainty embroidery and eyelet. Band inset at waist with more embroidery and cutwork. The slightly gathered sleeves have a split on the underside. There is an opening on the top of the sleeve and loops inside to run ribbon through it. I'm not quite sure how it is suppose to go through the loops and slit though. I put new ribbon in the sleeves, but you may have to changed the way it is laced. The lower half of dress has many pleats. The back ties with drawstring on the neck and two more drawstring ties at the waist.
CONDITION: The gown is in excellent condition, just a few buying pin dot holes.
