The Theatrum Machinaux Novum and the Architectura Nuova Curiosa, of which we present here buying a few hand-painted watercolor plates on a gouache black background.
These plates represent for the most part complex hydraulic systems adapted to fountains included in monumental architectures or in natural caves.
