Antique EAPG NEW JERSEY (aka Loops and Drops) Ruby Flashed Sugar With Lid U.S. Glass Co. buying 1900-1909, Antique EAPG ruby stained sugar with lid in the New Jersey pattern by US.
Description
Antique EAPG ruby stained sugar with lid in the New Jersey pattern by U.S. Glass Co., made c. 1900-1909. The very attractive New Jersey pattern is also known as Loops and Drops, Red Loop and Finecut. (EAPG is short for Early American Pattern Glass.) Nice large size. Very pretty.
Measurements: 6 1/2" high, 5" wide
Condition: buying Wear to ruby stain around scalloped rim of bowl, but rest of ruby stain is almost entirely intact.
A chip to edge of cover (see last photo) which does not show when lid is on bowl. Very small nick to inner ring of bowl (where the lid rests). No other damage to report.
