Clapotis (clap-o-tee) is a beautiful Bias knit piece. It can be rolled to be a scarf, spread to be a shawl, and worn in so many ways to stay warm and look stylish.

I have a multi-colored one that I use all year long: Spring, when there is still a chill in the buying morning. Summer, when the office and restaurants have the AC at full blast. Fall, as the nights get chilly. and Winter, when I need a bit of color on my black winter coat.

This is one size fits most. It is about 21 inches wide, and about 55 long...It is hard to measure a bias piece.

The bias part means it is a tilted rectangle, so you get the width of a rectangle, but the pretty points of a triangle shawl. This one is knit in a soft acrylic yarn, that shifts subtly from color to color.
