10k white gold purple buying Gemstone earrings

buying In great vintage condition, could use polishing.
Unknown maker.
10k white gold settings with large deep purple stones. The stones register as Sapphire on my gem tester but I've never had purple Sapphire so I'm just calling these purple Gemstones.
2.5g total weight.
As these sit, in their settings, approximately 10.1 x 8.1 mm from the front.
