Amethyst Colored Purple Fluorite Crystal from The Yaogangxian Mine (Nanling Mountains) in Hunan Province, China.

This mineral has PRESENCE! This beautiful sparkling Fluorite crystal cluster changes colors from dark amethyst purple to a pretty shade of raspberry colored in bright light. As you can see in my video when the sunlight captures it, it is truly AMAZING!

In my opinion Fluorite specimens from China are amongst the prettiest and most colorful. You will love this mineral specimen as it really is impressive. When being held up to the light some areas are translucent and you can see right through it. I love the way it shimmers at certain angles too. It is a quite powerful piece to add to your collection. It is not everyday that something this beautiful comes along. You will be dazzled by it's natural beauty. It is a STUNNER and a MUST HAVE!

Fluorite is composed of calcium fluoride and is a buying member of the Halide family. It is transparent to translucent with a vitreous luster, and crystallizes in well-formed isometric cubes, nodules, clusters, or in massive form.
