This is a neat little rare treasure! Made in Japan, circa 1930s, Cinematograph "moving picture" set - place one of the 8 double sided cards into the wooden frame and watch the pictures come to life move creating a scene! The wooden frame is beautifully hand stamped, the rice paper has disintegrated along the right side but it is still functional, wood is in excellent condition with no cracks or separation! The cards are in good vintage condition with "patina" and have been played with/show wear/dirt bit the colors are still vibrant and there are no holes or rips. The box still shows all its beautiful picture but has "patina" and is darkened but still stunning! I have only ever seen one other of these and it was in much worse shape!
