RARE 1970's buying NOS "Samantha" print / lithograph by artist Walter Lambert

This unused/unhung new old stock "Samantha" rare original nude lithograph from the 1970's by U.K. artist Walter Lambert, depicts a lovely lady much in the style of Shabner or J.H. Lynch. The original was done in the 60's but this litho was issued in the 1970's.

Walter Lambert was born in London in 1897 and died in 1986. He was the original artist for the Leyland Motors calendars, which started in the early 1930s and were famous around the world. He chose a different female worker each year as the face of the company and captured the fashions of that era. He continued his work until the late 1960s, when a different artist was commissioned.

The colours are very vibrant with no fading or major flaws. This print is unmounted and does not come with a frame. There is one area of creasing shown in the close-up photos.

Dimensions: Actual image size is 22" x 18"

"Samantha" would look great in a vintage gold or white frame in a bar or man cave. She would also complement a retro / mid century / tiki / 1950's kitsch / modern decor.
