Antique Child’s Book Somebody’s Darling Published buying by Raphael Tuck

This was a Darling book for a Darling child at the turn of the 20th century. It has been lovingly used and nicely stored for many years. Little Bo-Peep and her sheep grace the cover. Some bits of cover have been dripped on (possibly) so a bit of lithograph is missing.
The buying illustrators are well known in children's books of the period, as are the writers. One full color plate is opposite the total page. It is “Somebody's Darling”. The rest of the book's illustrations are color monochrome or black and white. Along with many stories and poems commemorating the four seasons, there is a story about Santa Claus,as well as several other Christmas stories.
Measurements: 10 1/2 x 8 x 1/2 inches.
Condition: book is in overall sound condition, no loose pages. Bumps along edging and some water stain in upper corner, which does not affect all pages. Cover has three spots that are missing paper. There is at least one illustration on each page. 72 pages.
