Absolutely Exquisite Vintage Whiting & Davis Silver Metal Mesh, Soft & Supple Evening Bag with Original Clear Multi-Rhinestone Clasp . . .

Gorgeous Estate Sale find measures 8 1/2" ( at widest ); 6" wide at top of scallop silver-tone metal frame.

The sewn-in blue label is post 1940's. The hand-sewn ivory silk fabric lining does show yellowing and age especially around the frame. Original mirror is included.

The exterior silver-tone metal frame is in very good + condition. The interior metal frame has engraving which states : Made in U.S.A., Mesh Whiting & Davis Co. Bags, 2911.

The attached metal chain handle measures 5 1/2" long. Please note that I have not attempted to clean the chain handle, nor the interior fabric.
