Thunderbird Brooch, Striking Slim Silver Design with buying Stamped Details, 3" x 1/2", 8g

Here's a wonderful thunderbird brooch with a design that brings paratrooper and pilot's wings to mind. The birds wings are fully extended to either side, with the tops of the wings straight across. The details are embossed or defined with stamps, and the piece is finished with a sturdy brass pin and a c-clasp closure.

The brooch measures 3 inches wide and 1/2" high and is unsigned, but appears to be coin buying silver, possibly dating from the 1940s. It has great patina front and back and is in very good condition.
