Cool tunnel. It also serves as an elevated climbing/basking spot. This is hand carved, painted, detailed, and finished, so there are no two exactly the same. You get the detail and realism that store bought doesn't give you, but also the ability to clean it unlike built-ins or elaborate backgrounds that aren't easily removed and cleaned. It's right in that sweet spot.

This is predominately made for snakes and other reptiles that don't have sharp nails. While it has a very hard coating, it's not recommended for adult bearded dragons or other similar reptiles with sharp nails. They can repetitively scratch areas which can damage the structure. I do make enclosure decor that has more coats of the stone like material that is recommended for that type of buying reptiles. If you purchase one anyway, it's highly recommended that you trim and file their nails often.

The inside tunnel is approx. 1.75" tall and 2 1/2" wide.

The structure is made from construction foam, coated several times with a stone like hardening material, painted, detailed and sealed 4-5 times with a pet safe acrylic sealer. The surface is hard, durable, and easy to clean.

For basic maintenance on your structure, wash with soap and water. Use an old toothbrush in a light circular motion to clean soiled areas. We recommend adding a few coats of acrylic sealer (spray can is easiest) after every 10-15 washings. This will keep your piece looking great, keep it strong, and avoid wearing for years.
