Unit does work and puts out 40 some Watts on a PDC 600 average meter that is accurate and the standing wave is being held at 1.1 on an MFJ-264. Now if we were talking about peak watts it would be much higher. Unit contains two tubes and buying they are in a series, so that tells the story. Receive amp and SSB delay also this is one of those amps you should not feed in no more than 6 watts. I got my readings using a Lafayette comstat 25A that only keys at 3 1/2 and swings to 4 and this little amp works more like a modulator box than an amp for it keys at 7 and swings to 40 plus right now, when talking. That's all I can tell you other than the meter works and it is not complicated to use. Nice case and clean inside.
