Large Ceramic Serving Platter, Handmade buying Pottery Serving Dish, Wheel Thrown Plate

This large platter buying measures 12" across and is 1 1/2"" deep. It is a great plate for the center of a table or to serve a favorite entree.

This serving dish is made from white stoneware on the potter's wheel.

The platter is first silk screened with a black geometric pattern. There are flowers hand stamped across the top and lots of hand free underglaze squiggles. The outside rim of the platter is a rich red underglaze. This is a new series for me. The surface of the plate is finished in a clear glaze. The underside of the plate is a clear glaze as well to show off the creamy stoneware.

All glazes are foodsafe. Please use my serving ware. It loves to show off a great recipe!
