So this is an interesting piece. This piece was made by an old french art company called Country Corner. What is depicted here is a famous boat race that still goes on today. This one was from 1907. In the pictures you will see the nails used to adhere the raised wood to the piece creating a 3D effect. The nails used tells its age. After the 1950's it became common to use adhesives for this type of work. It is also hand painted using oil paints. I am definitely open to offers. This piece is the only one of its kind. They did not reproduce or create buying prints or anything like that. All their pieces are one of a kind. You can find a few other smaller pieces on ebay for around $600. My hope is someone will fall in love with its history :).
