Vintage Austrian Crystal & glass stone brooch! -Marked "AUSTRIA" -Depicts two rounded orange pears in a deeply saturated, VERY shiny, orange glass or crystal w/ three light green, frosted leaves & one orange bud. -Gold plated metal w/ pin backing. -Described as "glass / crystal", as I'm uncertain on which. I know Austria is known for their crystal & it's very hard to tell if the pieces are cut or poured? It does feel much heavier than other brooches of this size. -Pears buying have mirrored backing, so they reflect light & shine like crazy! Leaves are frosted. -Very Good Vintage Condition! -This variety of Austrian fruit brooches are highly prized among collectors! It's so fun to wear & such a lovely piece. See pics for more details!
