AE4 / BI Nummus Silvered. 1.78gm 16mm Antioch Mint, First Officina, Struck c. Sept. 337 - 347 AD.

Obverse: CONSTANTIVS AVG, Constantius II laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right.

Reverse: GLORIA EXERCITVS Two soldiers helmeted, each holding spear and shield, military standard between ; mintmark SMANA(Sacra Moneta Antioch A [officina A =First officina]) mint mark in exergue.

Condition: AU (About Uncirculated!) to Mint State, Attractive glossy dark olive green-silver-gray patina with a light wash of remaining Silvering ~ much nicer and much more attractive in hand!!

Please note--the very light areas on reverse are the light reflecting off the surface of the coin due to the pristine/luster quality of surface. Typically, dark coins photograph lighter and light coins photograph darker.
