Hand buying Carved Wood Cherub/Putti Head - signed Köpf

Classically carved cherub head and shoulders. European - German/Austrian? Signed Köpf carved in bottom of right shoulder. Base is a different wood, 3D trapezoid on buying rectangular cube.

Maple wood with a rich patina 9.5"tall x 5.5' wide x 3.75 deep

The wood has a natural burl/knot on top of the head. There is a small split on either side of the burl. See photos.
