I applied them directly to a glass palette - the applicator never touched my skin or lips. However, I've still sanitized each doefoot applicator twice; once with a lysol wipe and once with 70% isopropyl alcohol. The outside of each lipstick was also cleaned & sanitized. I received a free small hand mirror but I already have one from this brand so i'm including it as a freebie :) buying Will ship next day! (I purchased all three of these for $20 each - I paid $30 in shipping fees. $90~ in total. If you guys were interested in this brand but weren't looking to spend that much on shipping, this is definitely a deal!).
