Sterling silver metalwork necklace with black stone sugar buying skull and crystal beads

I created this piece using pure sterling silver wire, a black stone skull bead and gray crystal beads.

I was first inspired to create the pendant. Once the pendant was finished I moved to designing the chain. Each link in the chain was handmade using sterling silver wire. I used a cold forging process on the large links to create texture. I incorporated beaded links by stringing the gray faceted crystal beads onto silver wire. The necklace ends in a handmade "S" clasp.
