Vintage 1940's Black and nude Chantilly lace dress

Lovely 1940's dress, I just see this dress on Elizabeth Taylor. Such a timless dress. I have to say. I don't think the mannequin does the dress justice.

The dress is done in a smooth finish rayon with a nude and chantilly lace neckline. The back of the dress scoops in the back a little.. so pretty!

The bottom of the dress is a below the knee, almost mid length with a slight A line. Pullover style with a side metal zipper closure.

This dress is about 80 or so years ols, she's in beautiful condition, buying the only flaw to note is a slight hole in the lace, that is small and noticeable in wear, see photo 8 for a close up of the hole, it's very tiny.
