buying Saint Peregrine Laziosi is an Italian saint of the Servite Order (Friar Order Servants of Mary). He is the patron saint for persons suffering from cancer, AIDS, or other illness.

Peregrine spent the night before the operation in prayer, both for his leg to be saved, and, if God chose this suffering for him to bear, that he would receive it with humility and trust.

In answer to his prayer, Peregrine received a vision of Christ who touched the diseased area of his leg. The next morning, Peregrine found his cancer completely healed.
