Enamel Drop Pendant – Red, Blue, Black Enamel w Sterling Silver Feature and buying Choice of Sterling Silver Chain or Cord – Handmade – Boho style

One of a kind multiple component enamel pendant on your choice of sterling silver snake chain or black neoprene necklace with hidden closer. Both will look great with both casual and dressy outfits.

The enamel components are bright red and sapphire blue with background of black and part of my 'Coral Garden' series. I used opaque colors layered over each other which result in unusual variations of the base colors as well as adding designs to add interest and contrast.

To make the pendant, I file and form the copper metal base shapes to ensure a pleasing curve. For the enamel components, I added two layers of counter-enamel (black) on the reverse side for strength and durability, then several layers of colour on the 'front' faces of the 2 circles and add designs using a scribe tool. This adds an organic look to the final pieces. These pieces have 3 layers of color and effect on the front. After enameling, I made the sterling silver feature component which included stamping and roller pressing. I then assemble the pendant and you can choose to hang on either the 45cm long, sterling silver snake chain for a dressy look or the black neoprene necklace for buying a more casual look.

Each combination of design elements and the outcome from the kiln-firing is unique.

Enamel is glass fused to a base metal, so please treat this pendant as precious and handle and store carefully so it will last for decades!
