Antique 19C set buying of 6 Hand Blown Wine Glasses

Here is lovely and perfect set of six 19th century blown glass flutes.
They are a simple design with a sturdy stem and smooth pontil.
These measure 5 inches tall, by 2 inches in diameter. The shape and smaller size makes them a good choice for port, sherry or champagne.

Manganese was used in the second half of the 1800s to make glass clear, but gives it a green fluorescence under black light (they will also turn purple if you leave them in the sun).

Excellent condition with no chips cracks, or other damage, or repairs. There are minor flaws in the matrix due to the older techniques: a few small bubbles and at least one tiny inclusion. There are also slight variations for the same reason, if you match up the bases you can tell they are individually crafted.
