An antique French rosary etui with black wood rosary.
The egg shaped etui is from the 19th century and is exquisitely carved in corozo wood, screwing buying together to hold the rosary.
It comes with a rosary in black wood and silver metal.

In France, corozo wood eggs were traditional for holding your rosary and it's rare to find them in good condition, as this one is.

The rosary is 19 in. / 48cm long.
The egg is just under 3 in high/7cm

The etui is in excellent condition with nice screw movement. Small marks on the back of the crucifix.
