Sharon Egan has always loved to draw and paint. She received her BFA from Penn State University and continues her education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She prefers painting from life, specializing in still life in her studio. Whenever possible, loves to paint en plien air, especially marshes, beaches and sunsets.

She has received numerous awards for her work and is delighted to have her work in collections around the world. Ms. buying Egan taught as a continuing education instructor at Bucks County Community College, as a workshop instructor at The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. She offers private instruction in Philadelphia.

She paints daily, in the company of her studio companions, Olive, a poodle mix rescue, and Junebug, her mischievous cat.

Ms Egan is a member of Oil Painters of America and is represented by Art on Asbury in Ocean City, NJ.
