VTG Pale Ecru Silk Knotted buying Ribbon Macrame Square Prayer Shawl Wrap Textile Boho The colors are different in the pics, depending on the lighting. It's actually more on the gold side as in the first picture, but a little lighter. Antique Silk (probably 1920s)Piano Scarf or Shawl, measuring 40x40 in total (body is 33"x33", and fringe is 7"). Embroidered, /Ecru color. The fringe is very delicate with macrame type hem which the silky threads hang from. The silk is stable, but there are pin holes & spots (see last four pics for examples).This appears to have a handmadesilken thread fringe. Beautiful old piece in remarkable condition for its age. This is so fine and thin, that I didn't realize it actually opened up to a square shape at first. It's quite lovely and has that early 1900s look.
