* Beautiful leather bound book with pressed gilding (i.e. Victorian)
* I believe this is a first edition, as I see later editions, but none that are earlier.
* Author, Pond, lead a church in the Bangor Maine area.
* Published by Nichols of Springfield Massachusetts
* 9.75" T x 5 5/8" W
* Binding is still tight, gilding around the page edges is still nice.
* Please buying note the slight water-stain to the lower edge of the back cover and the discoloration, vertically, across the front cover.
* Spring looks amazing sitting on a shelf amongst other books
