This large 10" x 5" hand thrown serving bowl has hand carved peaks along buying the outside that make a wonderful impression on the inside. The smooth and glossy Shale glaze shows off these peaks, highlighting the carving beautifully. We left the rim and foot of this large serving bowl unglazed, the toasty color of the raw clay gives great contrast in color and texture.

Hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay. This large serving bowl is perfect for serving so many dishes as well as doubling as mixing bowl. A family sized salad is a perfect fit in this gorgeous hand carved serving bowl.


As potters our goal is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're serving your homemade food from a handmade serving bowl, it just adds to the experience.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, never contains lead, is food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
