Madonna buying and Child Icon, in silver or silver-like material, tarnished,velvet back,date unsure,fabulous detail

Offered is an icon in a metal which appears to be silver (tarnishes) with a lovely red velvet backing and stand. I only guess at when it was made. It could be very new. No way I can tell. The backing is permanent and buying should not be removed.
Know very little about these icons. Like them very much for their artistic appeal and solemnity. Represents Mother Mary and Jesus . the Madonna.

Measures 4.75 x 3.75 x .5 inches. The sculpting is lovely and detail spectacular. Could be copy of original . Because it has OX at the top right , I read it is Russian Orthodox Byzantine or Greek Orthodox with "MP". Please do your own research. Have no information o its history. No hook for hanging , just a stand.
