This combo is a great starter kit for those just starting as audio enthusiasts. This combo is pretty powerful as well, I was able to drive my Sennheiser HD600s which have an impedance of buying 300 as long as you switch up the gain. It does peak and hiss at pretty high volumes but you shouldn't worry about those volume ranges. I wouldn't recommend using the E17 by itself since it is pretty beat up. The display is slightly glitched but it is readable. I also wouldn't recommend using the coaxial and spdif capabilities since the connections aren't as stable as they were in the past. I do recommend using this as a computer dac. The docking is slightly sensitive so don't move the E17 too much while using it or it will lose connection. No cables are included so just make sure you at least have a decent power adapter, usb cable and rca No returns.
