This exquisite Murano Amethyst hand blown glass decanter, stopper, plus 6 matching glasses are from Venice, Italy. It is adorned with 24k gold trim and gold floral scrolls. The glasses are weighted at the bottom and do not tip. The glass is an Amethyst – Plum color, darker on the bottom where the glass is thicker. The decanter is approximately 10” tall with the stopper, and the glasses are 3” high x 2” wide. Etched on the bottom “Made for Tom and Nan Limberis Venice 1998” which was the souvenir inscription to the family who originally purchased it. This set is in wonderful condition, the gold buying gilding is nicely preserved.
