This scarf is real piece of art, very light and soft. I was inspired by the unique combination of colors and texture of a tree bark. This piece was made of plant dyed silk fabric and super fine merino wool fiber using wet felting technique. On the reverse side of the scarf is a layer of mulberry silk fiber.

The scarf can be worn in multiple ways, you can tie around your neck to decorate your sweater or coat. It is great for any occasion.

Process: felt is a oldest textile technique that uses the application of heat, moisture and friction to mat wool fibers together. Wool fiber has scales that react to heat and moisture by opening up, relaxing, and becoming flexible. Friction makes the wool fibers interlock, and creates solid fabric.

Measurements: buying 69 (175 cm) inches long and 9(23 cm) inches wide.

Care instructions: simply hand wash in a gentle soap. Squeeze gently. To dry, lay the garment on a flat surface, reshaping if necessary.
