Description

Product Name: 1920's Roseville Nursery Rhyme buying Baby Dish

Beautiful old Roseville baby dish: Tom, the Piper's son.

Roseville made a series of these dishes, all with nursery rhymes. Tom, the Piper's son is quite rare.

'Tom, he was a piper's son buying. He learned to play when he was young.'

Very pale yellow - ivory colored shallow dish is weighted to help prevent spills, with a rolled rim. Graphics are very sweet - several small children listening as Tom plays his pipe.

Colors are very nice, with some minor wear. The red of Tom's suit is mottled. The green around the rim is excellent. Overall condition is very good - no damage. There is no mark, but this piece is in the Roseville books.

6 1/2 inches across, about 1 1/2 inches deep.
