Product Name: Dress made from buying a quilt top and handembroidered dollies
From my sewing room...dress I made combining a handembroidered dollies and a handhandstitched eight point star quilt top. The pullover dress gathers at front and it is size small with a loosely fitting. No pockets. Unlined. The back yoke is embellished with patches of the same materials from the dollies and quilt top. Measurements taken flat pit to pit : 30" Across the shoulders: 20"( see pic) Length, shoulder to hem: 41" As this is made from a handmade quilt top, it is possible it shows its history in the form of slight discolorations and/or areas of wear. This gives it character and is a reminder of the life the quilt top has buying lived, and are not viewed as defects.
