Antique Vintage Victorian Edwardian White Lace Cotton Dress // buying Size S

This antique dress is truly something special. Breathtaking white cotton lace long sleeve dress with lace tiers and hem. Buttons up the back. Long gauzy sheer lace sleeves. This dress is over 100 years old and although it is quite delicate, it is completely wearable. As with very old dresses like these, there are holes, many in the lace on the border hem, but a few pinholes on buying the bodice and some very small holes under the left arm snd around the neckline. I've done my best to represent these in the photos above. The border hem could possibly be reinforced with a soft tulle to essentially “patch” the holes in it. (To many, this dress would be deemed perfect, "flaws" and all!) They show signs of a long life and this dress is truly nothing short of amazing. Could use a gentle soak. Would be beautiful as a wedding dress or simply worn by someone who appreciates the craftsmanship, artistry and history of dresses from this era.
