Product Name: Very Rare 1950's Kokeshi doll by buying Aki Kaede
This is one of the kind very rare design Kokeshi doll by artist Aki Kaede, title "GaGa". The doll is on the floor with the knee up to the chest. Simple design, no color painting. A pair of pitch black eyes and a unique shape tilted head. Burned wood style body. Artist wrote the title of the doll at the back, with hanko on the base. The dollstands 6" tall, weight 255.6gm, circa approx. 1950-1960's, aged related discoloration and dust on the doll. The doll is in very good, original condition consistent with age and standards of collectable Folk Art, with all details perfect and as crafted.
