Fringe Necklace Brass and Metal Chain buying - c. 1885 - Victorian - Scarce

This is from my private jewelry collection. I'm beginning to part with some of my favorite antique pieces of jewelry. Time for someone else to enjoy them.

This wonderful brass fringe necklace on a chain has the additional drops of silver metal for drama. It is quite heavy and in excellent condition for its age. (c. 1885) The first two photos show how it would look and the next two photos show it worn with the other side shown. A slightly different look.

Spread open, it buying measures nearly 15". The center drop is 2-1/4" long. Note the extra large clasp, which indicates its age. It still works.

This is a well made piece from the past and would make a great addition to your collection. Definitely wearable!
