Method: Lost wax casting. This piece was originally buying hand crafted in wax, then cast in antique bronze. Each piece is hand finished, then oxidized to enhance the design.

Design Process: Original sketches by David are the basis for these pieces. Iffluences from historical sources, wildlife photography, etc are an integral part of this collection.

David's Notes: If you ever find yourself in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, go to Stow Lake above the Tea Gardens. There, at
the sunny end of the lake, you'll find an old log and several turtles sunny themselves on it. This was the inspiration of this piece.
