Both have sat untouched for nearly 20 years in a closet. Gameboy itself has been tested with 2 AA batteries ONLY. Does not come with charger so wall charge untested. With batteries this Gameboy Color works as it should and plays fine, volume works too. Some cosmetic wear typical from use and may need better cleaning in areas - some minor damage on top left corner (please see photos). The game cartridge is in very good condition and works without issue. Will be shipped with 2 brand new AA batteries. Charger not included in this listing.
