Antique XL grain size bushel buying around 1820

Beautiful ancient antique grain measure or bushel from the early 19th century with charming traces buying of age and patina. There are letters and a star carved into the wood.
According to the previous owner, it is about 200 years old and was built by one of his ancestors himself.
Originally, it was a measure for weighing grain.
Today it is a wonderful country house decoration for your home or garden.
It is very suitable for seasonal decoration with plants, dried flowers or similar natural materials.
