It has metal frame with a wire basket and large adjustable BALE HANDLE it is signed on top by the Maker Dressel Arlington New Jersey this is a very EARLY And rare working oil burning lantern with original clear glass globe there is little surface rust on some areas It in excellent condition for a used vintage item,this was the brakeman's lantern my Husband used for the fifty years he worked on the railroad, so if you are looking for a great lantern this one is for you.
