Original, hand-drawn, digital illustration of an original series tricorder from Star Trek. I had a fan-made prop of a tricorder as a kid and it was always one of my most prized possessions. Mine came complete with a black leather strap as well as lights plus sounds. I wanted to do it justice on paper to try and capture the play of light on the mottled plastic and metal surfaces. It was a challenge but also very fun. I think Mr. Spock would be proud.
