This 1940s soft black silk velvet robe / hostess gown has a zipper in the front with hook and eye to cover the zipper. Delicate lace on the shawl collar and cuffs. The garment has 40s style puff sleeves, shawl collar, A line silhouette , and drapes beautifully. Unlined I'm a size 10/12 and was able to put it on but I could not lift my arms. Size 8 or smaller would be a better fit RARE- You will never find another one like this outside of an XS LABEL: I. Magnin Flaws- One 2mm hole in the hem, easily fixable with invisible thread, buying and one part of the zipper seam, about 1 inch long, needs to be resewn. I.
